| 31 May | Monique Smiles for Life |
On Saturday, Monique co-hosted the Britticares 5k annual/run walk. The event is a means to raise money for childhood cancer, helping the children and their families cope with the physical and emotional stress they go through. After the event Monique took to her tumblr and had this to say:
I’m honored that I had the opportunity to co-host the Britticares 5k Walk/Run today! It was great to see my girl Keke Palmer and share the stage with Chris Tucker. Although the event was to raise money for childhood cancer which we all know is a serious issue, the event coordinators made sure that everyone was smiling and having a really fun time. There were a lot of performances, vendors, and cool activities.
BrittiCares International is dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families deal with the emotional challenges of sickness, and uncertainties, through creating positive and exciting programs awareness, uplifting support and family involvement.
