Monique is a Third St. Olympian

Last Saturday morning, Monique donned her blue shirt to be the captain of the Blue Team for the Third Street Olympics. She spent the morning filling backpacks for homeless children in Los Angeles as well as playing games with the children and filming an episode for Gimme MO’.

Monique took to her Tumblr after the event saying: At the Third Street Olympics on Saturday June 5, 2010. I was team captain for the blue team. Olympian Brock Kreitzburg and Sunny with a Chance star Tiffany Thornton were also in attendance. The kids at Third Street filled back packs for homeless children in Los Angeles. There are 14,000 homeless kids in LA. I brought my film crew to capture the action for an episode of GimmeMo’ on youth homelessness. It was really inspiring to hear the students talking about the importance of giving to those less fortunate. I also had a blast playing games.

We’ve snagged the pictures she put up on her Tumblr and her Facebook as well as several videos. Make sure you check ‘em out!
