Surrounded by friends, interviewees, and press, Monique kicked off the month with a celebration and screening of her new web series “Gimme Mo.’” Over the past few months we’ve seen pictures, videos, and tons of tweets regarding her new show and foundation, and with the release only a week away, the nerves and excitement are definitely getting to her! As she arrived to the event she tweeted “Just arrived at the screening. I’m pooping my pants.” We hope she got that mess cleaned up before going inside

After it was over, we saw lots of great feedback on twitter. JustJaredJr tweeted “We just previewed @gimmemotalk’s new show and we have to say, it’s amazing! We can’t wait for everyone to see it on Sept 8th!” and friend Naturi Naughton added “The new Oprah is on the rise yall! So proud!”
